Will be offering low cost spay and neuter services / TNR program to help with the overpopulation of cats we have here in Sequatchie county and surrounding areas.
This facility is a non-profit organization inspired to help the residents and animals in our area with a low cost solution to spay and neuter. It is dedicated to ending unwanted litters of dogs and cats thereby eliminating the need to euthanize homeless animals.

Pet Pictures with Santa at Tractor Supply Dunlap, TN
Had a wonderful time with Santa and met some really great people. I want to thank Santa for coming and donating his time during this busy season, for Stephanie Shell Weaver for taking beautiful pictures, Susie and Cody for coming early and setting up the decorations and for all that came out to support Sequatchie Valley Low Cost Spay & Neuter with your donations. We received $312.00 to go towards our Surgery Equipment fund. Thank you everyone.
I wanted to thank everyone that came to the City Commissioners meeting last Thursday 12/07/2017. Had a good outcome from the Mayor Dwain Land. He announced that he is supporting the opening of a Low Cost Spay and neuter facility and that he would like to vote on it this spring to go on the city budget to help support Sequatchie Valley Low Cost Spay and Neuter. The cities support would help off set the cost for those that cannot pay or can not pay the full amount. Mayor Dwain Land made a donation to support the facility. I want to thank Mayor Dwain Land for his support and his donation.

Q: Is this an animal rescue?
A: No, this is not an animal rescue shelter. It will only be a same day low cost spay and neuter facility. Hopefully in the near future Dunlap will have a much needed animal shelter.
Q: What if I cannot afford the amount needed to spay/neuter my pet?
A: Don’t let that stop you from contacting us! We have programs that can help!
Q: What if my dog/cat is already in heat?
A: The vet will be skilled at handling animals in heat and we will be glad to discuss the procedure with you.
Q: Will my pet be staying overnight?
A: No, as this is a same day procedure your pets will be coming home later that same day.
Q: Will you be offering rabies, other immunizations, worm medicines or flea control?
A: Yes, just be sure to ask us when you contact us for the current rates.
“Respect for life, striving to reverse universal acceptance of killing as a solution to pet overpopulation by using low cost spay and neuter, education, and community involvement.” Euthanasia is not the solution to pet overpopulation. By offering low cost spay and neuter, TNR program, education, pet adoption and community involvement we can all help with pet overpopulation
At present time there are no options in our area to have animals spayed or neutered, I am opening a free or low cost spay and neuter for Sequatchie county and surrounding counties to help with our over population of homeless animals. This area has a high population of feral cats so there will be a TNR service available. Grant money would go towards medical equipment, Neighborhood Cat Traps, and funds set aside to help pay for those that can not pay to have their animals spayed or neutered. The funds would also be used for transport of animals for those in rural areas that have no means to get to the facility and for the TNR program.
This has been a burden on my heart for 12 years and have saved my own money and started this endeavor to open a low cost spay/neuter facility. I have been doing animal rescue from my home for the past 11 years and have placed around 200 animals to their forever home, and at this present time I still have 24 animals looking for their forever homes. This has been a passion and a goal for a long time. Thank you.

I would’ve died that day if not for you.
I would’ve given up on life if not for your kind eyes.
I would’ve used my teeth in fear if not for your gentle hands.
I would have left this life believing that all humans don’t care
Believing there is no such thing as fur that isn’t matted
skin that isn’t flea bitten
good food and enough of it
beds to sleep on
someone to love me
to show me I deserve love just because I exist.
Your kind eyes, your loving smile, your gentle hands
Your big heart saved me…
You saved me from the terror of the pound,
Soothing away the memories of my old life.
You have taught me what it means to be loved.
I have seen you do the same for other dogs like me.
I have heard you ask yourself in times of despair
Why you do it
When there is no more money, no more room, no more homes
You open your heart a little bigger, stretch the money a little tighter
Make just a little more room…to save one more like me.
I tell you with the gratitude and love that shines in my eyes
In the best way I know how
Reminding you why you go on trying…
I am the reason
The dogs before me are the reason
As are the ones who come after.
Our lives would’ve been wasted, our love never given
We would die if not for you.
